Elite is an insert set in 1991 Donruss Baseball. This set was a brand new insert set marking a new era for Donruss Baseball. These chase cards were serial numbered and inserted at very low rates in packs. The concept of the set was a living checklist, with new sets in future years adding more cards. Players would not reappear in the set after appearing once.
The Ryne Sandberg autographed card is still in high demand from collectors and can be sold for $100 or more depending on the card's condition.
