Nicknames is an insert set in 1993 Triple Play. This 12-card set features current major league players and the nicknames commonly used by the media when describing them. The cards were inserted exclusively into 12-card wax packs. Had Donruss expanded the checklist slightly they could have included Goose Gossage, Mad Dog Maddux, and Iron Man Ripken.
