The 2006 Flashbacks set is ten card set insert set in 2006 Topps Heritage featuring events that occurred during the 1957 season. The card design is very similar the base card design for the set. The cards were inserted at a rate of 1:12 packs both hobby and retail. The set is numbered based on the player's initials and has more Yankees repesentatives than necessary. Why not include Hank Aaron's pennant clinching walk off homerun? Or Bob Keegan's No-Hitter. Or Lew Burdette's World Series MVP performance? The Braves are not represented at all in the set, even though they won the World Series that year.
