Pure Heat is an insert set in 2010 Upper Deck. This 15-card set was inserted into packs at a fairly high rate. Although one might guess that a Pure Heat set is centered around pitchers with high velocity fastballs, instead it focuses on current major league superstars (and Manny Ramirez), both hitters and pitchers. The die-cuts cards have FLAMES! in the background and are not serial numbered.
