Corey Patterson is a former major league baseball player. In the late 1990's Patterson was the top prospect in baseball, touted as a five-tool star. He appeared on the cover of Beckett and his cards commanded large premiums. When he finally made it to the major leagues, he had a couple of the tools, but never seemed to be able to put it all together. Overall, he was a plus defender in centerfield with great range and arm. But offensively he never became the player many had expected him to be. In his career, Patterson bounced around eight different teams.
