Jack Morris is a former major league baseball player and member of the baseball Hall of Fame, inducted in 2018. Morris had an 18 year career, was a member of 3 World Series winning teams, and made 5 All-Star teams. His induction into the Hall of Fame was highly debated by baseball's fans and writers. By some measures Morris is one of the worst pitchers in the Hall of Fame. Morris finished his career with a 3.90 ERA, never finished higher than 3rd in Cy Young Award voting, and was a stunningly average pitcher in many of his seasons. But Morris won more games in the 1980's than any other pitcher, he finished with 175 complete games, and was considered the ace and leader of many very good baseball teams.
