Jaime Garcia is a current major league baseball player. Garcia was once a very highly regarded pitching prospect for the St. Louis Cardinals. Originally drafted in the 30th Round of the 2004 Draft by the Orioles, Jaime Garcia did not sign and was drafted again in 2005 by the Cardinals. He excelled in the minor leagues, making his major league debut at 21 in 2008, finally sticking in the big leagues in 2010 when he finished 3rd in Rookie of the Year voting. After a brilliant first couple years in the majors, injuries to his throwing shoulder really hampered his career. After the 2016 season he was traded to the Braves. Then in 2017 he was traded to Twins and then the Yankees in a span of 15 days. It just so happened that Garcia was the first pitcher to start three consecutive games for three different teams in more than 100 years. Garcia never achieved what he might have been able to achieve if he had stayed healthy.
