Jason Varitek , nicknamed Tek, was a Major League baseball player from 9/1997 - 9/2011. He played his entire career for the Boston Red Sox, winning a Gold Glove and Silver Slugger award, as well as being a three-time All Star, and a two-time World Series Champion.
