Randy Johnson is a former major league baseball player. He is a left-handed pitcher who was voted into the Hall of Fame in 2015. He pitched for the Expos, Mariners, Astros, Diamondbacks, Yankees and Giants during his career. He was known for his competitiveness, 98 mph fastball and slider. He pitched with a mullet, a mustache and a big sweeping sidearm delivery. The tall lefty, nicknamed "The Big Unit," struggled for his first several seasons before finally discovering his mechanics.
Johnson has numerous accolades and awards after his long career. Some of these include: ten-time All Star selection, World Series Champion 2001 and MVP, and nine-time strikeout champion. Johnson also pitched a no-hitter game on June 2, 1990 and a perfect game on May 18, 2004. He also pitched an immaculate inning (August 23, 2001).
